Dr.-Ing. Thomas Sinnwell

Dr.-Ing. Thomas Sinnwell was born in 1965 in Püttlingen (Saarland) and is managing partner at consistec Engineering & Consulting GmbH.
He studied communications technologie at the Saarland University of Applied Sciences. Following his time there he studied information technology at the Saarland University (UdS). 1999 he completed his doctorate in the field of signal processing at the UdS with "summa cum laude". His supervisors were Prof. Dr. rer. nat. (Theoretical Electrical Engineering) and Prof. Dr. rer. nat. A. K. Louis (Applied Mathematics).
Parallel to his second degree, Thomas Sinnwell worked as a partner in an engineering office from 03/1990 to 12/1992. There he worked in the fields of network technology and PC-based measurement technology. From January 1992 to mid 1994, he worked part-time at the service centre 'New Actuators with MicroSystem and Signal Processing concepts (D*ASS )', where he developed high-current amplifiers for magnetostrictive actuators.
In 1994 he moved to the department of Theoretical Electrical Engineering at Saarland University, where he worked until 1999 as a research assistant in the fields of signal processing and radio wave propagation.
From 1990 to 1999 Thomas Sinnwell taught "Theoretical Electrical Engineering" and "Digital Signal Processing" as a lecturer at the Saarland University of Applied Sciences. In the summer semester of 1999, Dr. Sinnwell taught Theoretical Electrical Engineering II (Signals and Systems) at Saarland University.
Within the years 1999 to 2002, he worked as a Technical Consultant and later as a Senior Technical Consultant and Acceptance Manager at DeTeMobil GmbH / T-Mobile Deutschland GmbH. The technical focus during his time there was on the integration and testing of IP-based services in mobile networks.
Dr.-Ing. Sinnwell is responsible for the strategic orientation of consistec, the HR division and research and development activities.
He is married and has a daughter.
Dipl.-Ing. Stefan Sinnwell
Managing Partner - Solutions & Finance
Stefan Sinnwell was born in Püttlingen (Saarland) in 1970 and is managing partner at consistec Engineering & Consutling GmbH.
He studied electrical engineering with a focus on information technology at the University of Saarland and part-time industrial engineering at the distance learning university of Hagen.
After his studies, Stefan Sinnwell worked at the Chair for Theoretical Electrical Engineering at Saarland University from 1997 to 1998. He worked on error detection in acoustic systems and the implementation of signal processing algorithms on digital signal processors, within the framework of industrial projects.
From 1999 to 2000, he worked as a technical consultant and later as a team leader in the "Billing" department at Mannesmann Arcor GmbH in Frankfurt.
Since the foundation of consistec GmbH, Stefan Sinnwell has also been active in consistec's operative business and has supervised international projects in the field of "testing, integrating and optimizing data services", especially for Deutsche Telekom AG.
Today, Stefan Sinnwell is responsible for the area 'Solutions' and 'Finance' as well as for the caplon© product roadmap.
He is married and has two sons.
